Dosage and Functions
ESCOSPEED 250
Escospeed 250 is a Chloride based concrete Admixture and used as an Accelerator for fast setting purpose . Never use it for reinforced concrete. Mainly use it for Paver Blocks Industry.
Dosage: : Normally 0.5% to 1.2 % by weight of Cement. ( 250 ml to 600 ml) Density : 1.25+/- .05 kg/ltr Water Reduction : Nil
Advantage : Fast Setting Purpose only. Concrete hardens more quickly. Cold weather concreting, Emergency repairs , Fast-track construction, Increases strength during the first 1–7 days. Speeds up cement hydration reaction. Chloride accelerators are usually cheaper than non-chloride accelerators.
Disadvantage : No more Water Reduction. Chloride ions attack reinforcement bars and cause rusting. So Your machinery also might have higher wear and tear. Efflorescence and Surface Staining- White salt deposits may appear on concrete surface. Increased Shrinkage Risk – can lead to cracks. Long-term durability may reduce in marine or humid environments. steel is highly sensitive to chloride attack
Avoid in: Reinforced concrete , Prestressed concrete, Marine structures, Water tanks, Bridges
Note: : dosage and strength depends on the Quality and quantity of cement , Aggregates combination, water consumption, etc. Main Chlorides are sodium chloride, Magnicium Chloride, Calcium Chloride etc
ESCOPLUS 250
Escospeed 250 is a sodium Ligno based concrete Admixture and used as a Water Reducer, Plasticiser and fast setting purpose . Do not use it for reinforced concrete. Mainly use it for Paver Blocks Industry.
Dosage: : Normally 0.5% to 1.0 % by weight of Cement. ( 250 ml to 500 ml) Density : 1.10+/- .05 kg/ltr Water Reduction : 5-12%
Advantage : Fast Setting Purpose only. Concrete hardens more quickly. Cold weather concreting, Emergency repairs , Fast-track construction, Increases strength during the first 1–7 days. Speeds up cement hydration reaction.
Avoid in: Reinforced concrete , Prestressed concrete, Marine structures, Water tanks, Bridges
Note: : dosage and strength depends on the Quality and quantity of cement , Aggregates combination, water consumption, etc. Main Chlorides are sodium chloride, Magnicium Chloride, Calcium Chloride etc
